Since November, with the decrease of rainfall, the water of the Nyang River has become crystal-clear, and the leaves of numerous willows along the riverside have gradually turned yellow, forming a beautiful and charming scenery against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds. It has attracted large numbers of tourists and photographers to visit and take photos.

The Nyang River, located on China’s Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is 307.5 kilometers long. The basin has an area of 17,500 square kilometers, and it originates from the western side of Mila Mountain in Tibet Autonomous Region, flowing from west to east, and converging with the Yarlung Tsangpo River in Nyingchi County. It is the “Mother River” of the Kongpo area.
