On June 1, after finishing an investigation in Aba Prefecture, 110 overseas Chinese businessmen from 48 countries and regions in the world such as the U.S., Britain, France, Egypt, Malaysia… left Sichuan for home, wccdaily.com reported.

During the investigation in Li County, the investigating team, surrounded by the verdant hills and green waters, was amazed by the abundant tourist resources in Aba.

The head of the Association of Chinese-English Education Exchange, Mr Huang Liang, said that Aba’s tourist resources with rich potential are waiting to be discovered, which needs professional experts to design the exploiting plan. For instance, at the moment, when the tourists come to visit Bipeng Valley, they just can do a simple sightseeing trip, taking some pictures and that is all. The tourists just can have a one-day trip. A professionally designed plan is necessary, which covers various kinds of activities such as trekking, boating, cycling, exploring and summer vacation mushroom picking.  “We can use this method to persuade the tourists to stay several days more, ” Huang Liang said.

Zhang Qi, head of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce of the Democratic Republic of Congo, believed that Sichuan needs to be integrated into the “Belt and Road” initiative and it is necessary to find accurately the advantageous resources from different places in Sichuan. The Aba Prefecture is rich in natural resources, which can help develop ecological and organic agriculture as well as tourism.

Once he arrived to Li County, Zhang Qi immediately visited the county. The local population is not big with small markets and the stores close relatively early every day. Therein, Aba Prefecture, on the foundation of attracting outside tourists, needs to be going global relying on its resource advantages.
