The 14th annual Mt. Qomolangma cultural tourism festival was held in Shanghai from September 11th-14th with the slogan “Qomolangma charm and grace for the deepening of Shanghai and Tibetan people’s relationship.

The Shigatse city investment promotion conference exhibition was held during the festi. Shigatse city style exposition, culture performance, photos from tours to Mt. Qomolangma, photography demonstrating the outcome of Shanghai aid to Tibet, Shigatse city tour promotion, a commencement ceremony facilitated by China Eastern airlines, and the second Mt. Qomolangma wedding ceremony amongst 10 other small activities were launched.

The activity had the aim of improving the brand effectiveness of the Mt. Qomolangma cultural festival and achieving the purpose of promoting, revealing and developing Shigatse.
