Spend 20 to 30 yuan per person

Located on Beijing West Road, although the Auspiciousness Tibetan Restaurant is not large, during the lunchtime the restaurant entrance is filled with diners. Most people come here to dine on Tibetan-style stir-fry noodles and a pot of sweet tea. Unlike Chinese style stir-fry noodles, here's Tibetan-style noodles only have beef, vegetables and Tibetan noodles, which are chewy and taste delicious.

Renbu Restaurant is also located on Beijing West Road. Many people drink sweet tea one pot after another while eating stir-fry radish and meat. People come here to chat and eat in the comforting environment.

Tashi Lazong Tibetan Restaurant on Beijing West Road diagonally opposite to the Global Building serve fine Tibetan cuisines, traditional Tibetan dishes and popular beef and rice, Tibetan dumplings, fried rice and other dishes.

The Jade Tibetan Kitchen is located in an alley 50 meters around the corner from two willow trees in Norbu Lingka Road. The restaurant serves Tibetan home-style cooking such as Amala Potatoes, stewed beef and radish, Tibetan dough dumpling soup and other distinct dishes. They also serve Tibetan-Western fusion pizza.

Tashi Longda Tibetan Restaurant in Xianzu Island's Eco-Community mainly serves glutinous rice-cakes, stewed beef and radish, ginseng fruit rice, Tibetan hot pot and other dishes. Not only does the food taste excellent, but is also very cheap. This place is great to go with friends and family to enjoy a meal together.

Pagoda Tibetan Restaurant is located on Dokde Street opposite to the fire station. Though not very large, the two-story restaurant is clean and tidy. It mainly serves Tibetan-style snacks, beer and homemade yak meat.

The Basan Tibetan Restaurant is located on Dokde Street across the street from the Home Inn. Here you can eat truly authentic Tibetan cuisine. The shop mainly serves vegetarian diet and Tibetan roast mutton chops.

Spend 60 to 90 yuan per person

The Drochi Jimcang is located about 200 meters north of Xiangyang Market. Here they are known for serving homemade beef and lamb, Tibetan hotpot and roast mutton chops.

The Tibetan Fragrant Chicken Shop is located at 25 Nyangri Street next to the performing arts center. The shop is distinctly serves fragrant Tibetan chicken hot pot, and Tibetan chicken and caterpillar-fungus stew as well as other dishes.

The Choden Tibetan Restaurant is located at 49 West Nachen Street next to the Lhasa Public Security and Traffic Police Department. The shop mainly serves yak meat and caterpillar-fungus stew, tongue roast, roast leg of lamb and other dishes all in the traditional Tibetan style.

The Sapphire Tibetan Buffet is located at the intersection of Tsangshar Road and Nachen Street. This shop mainly serves saffron tongue dish and wild vegetable congee.
