It is impossible to capture all of Tibet's natural beauty in your photographs no matter how many pictures you take and how many times you take. You will always find new beauty. Tibet is worth visiting again and again, each time filling your camera with new images.

11. The Yarlung Zangbo River

Around the Yarlung Zangbo River and the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon there are tall mountains, rushing rivers, and Tibet's unique cowhide rafts. The riverside scenery is endless. Rafting down the river would be an excellent chance to get some good pictures, but it can be pretty dangerous.

12. Namtso

People praise it as a holy and heavenly lake. Wandering on the lakeside, watching the Nyainqentanglha range in the distance, is the unmatched. At sunrise and sunset, the lake water turns the fiery color of the sun on the horizon. During the Year of Goat, there is a Buddhist assembly on the shores of the lake, when countless believers come to circle the lake.

13. Nagqu

Here there are lakes, grasslands, blue sky with white clouds, and northern Tibetan prairies as far as the eye can see. Every year on Aug. 15 of Tibetan calendar, there's a horse racing festival, where one can observe and experience for oneself the ethnic people's customs and lifestyle. Witnessing all the horses racing at full speed is absolutely mind-blowing.

14. Bangda

The Chamdo's Bangda grasslands are in no way inferior to northern Tibet. Standing on the hillside, overlooking the beautiful grasslands framed by the snowy mountaintops is spectacular. This place also contains the Grand Canyon of the Nujiang River.

15. Ra'og

The water of Ra'og Lake is clear, green, and beautiful regardless of the season or time. Lake water, mountain snow, thick forests, and mountains combine making a heaven on earth.
