Family hotels in Tibet mushroomed in recent years, being not only fruit of tourism development but also embodiments of unique Tibetan folk culture.

Trashigang folk village, located in LuLang Town in Nyingchi Prefecture, southeast of China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, is one of the villages which witnesses and benefits from tourism prosperity.

Retaining the traditional ways of living such as farming, yak-raising, and medicinal herbs-digging, villagers also run family hotels for travelers from around the world.

Let's have a glimpse of the family hotels.
