A bite of Tibet III
Nyingchi Prefecture of southwest Tibet Autonomous Region held a cooking contest on Sep 5, displaying diverse Tibetan delicacies made by matsutake, a kind of mushroom that is nurtured in Tibet and is prized for its distinct spicy-aromatic odor.
Tibetan food such as pancake, steamed dumplings and paste made by matsutake are displayed, being a grand feast for both the eyes and the stomach.
