4th 'International Half Marathon Challenge' to kick off on Aug 25th
The 4th "International Half Marathon Challenge'" with more than 3,000 athletes from 24 provinces in attendance will start at the Potala Palace Square on Aug 25th.

The 4th International Half Marathon Challenge with total length of 21.0975 km will launch at the Potala Palace Square in Lhasa, pass Norbu Lingka, Drepung Monastery and other famous sites in Tibet Autonomous Region. Moreover, the 10 km mini-marathon and 5 km family mini-marathon will also be held at the same time.
This is the third time that Tibet holds such game at the average elevation of 3,670 meters above sea level. And in the past challenge games, all the attendees had completed the game without any emergency accident.
This year, all the athletes have the chance to experience the Shoton Festival which will be launched during 20th to 26th.
