Nepali world cyclist Pushkar Shah scaled Mt. Qomolangma, the world's highest peak on Monday.
Shah, who is more popularly known as "world cyclist" after he earned national and international fame for traveling to more than 150 countries on his bicycle, was waiting a fair weather at the South Pole for some days and ascended the peak Monday morning, Indra Maharjan, Shah's liaison officer was quoted by THT Online as saying.
Called the "Peace expedition 2010", the Nepali cyclist had earlier told the media that he is going on this expedition to pray for world peace.
