In addition to traditional package tour, traveling by renting a car  also came into fashion as winter tourism in Tibet program launched. 

It's reported that the automatic five-seat SUV is most favored among tourists.

The car renters need to provide their driver's licenses, original and copy of identity cards, and a guarantee deposit before the car rental company conducts a verification. After all details are confirmed, both sides would sign a contract and the renter could drive the car.

At the same time, the car rental company would also provide related car accessories such as anti-slip chains and shovels, and any necessary driving safety explanations to ensure the security of the renters.
