A visitor is watching samples of Tibetan medicine in the China Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum.
The China Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum is located in Xining city, Qinghai province. Built in 2006, it is a comprehensive museum that includes exhibitions on the history of Tibetan medicine, Mantang instruments, ancient documents, samples of Tibetan medicine, astronomical calendars, thangka paintings, Tibetan folklore, Tibetan calligraphy, as well as a hall with thousands of Medicine Buddha statues and a chamber of ancient books. The museum has a collection of more than 20,000 pieces.
