Themed photo exhibition held in Lhasa

On the morning of the 9th, the “Beauty of China” photo exhibition was held at the Tibet Yak Museum, Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region.

The exhibit is a part of the "Belt and Road Initiative" touring photo and video exhibition, and it exhibited the most impactful visual pieces reflecting the magnificence and splendor of many places in China.

The exhibit showcased unique views that the photographer possesses,  as well as China's economic development, social stability, unity of nations, cultural prosperity and other extreme examples of change.

The exhibit showed more than 100 pieces with broad topics, rich contents, diverse styles and eloquent qualities that represent the values of contemporary China, embody the spirit of Chinese culture and reflect the aesthetic pursuits of contemporary Chinese people. Amongst them are many that embody the Tibet’s snow mountains and immense forests, land of peach blossoms, dark nights with starry skies and other natural and human photography pieces.

Yang Yuanxing, head of China Art Photography Association said, it is meaningful that the exhibition is being held in Lhasa and exchanges about supporting the Tibet cultural industry is conducted.

The natural scenery of Tibet is very unique, the history is very long and there are unending materials for creation. It provides for copious art nutrients, and it is a fertile land that excites creative inspirations. It will be possible to advance communication and exchange between the Tibet Autonomous Region and the China Art Photography Association through this event. Furthermore, more photography lovers will be able to come to know more about Tibet, to understand Tibet and come to Tibet.
