The Yarlung Tsangpo eco tourism festival will open from September 26 to 30 in Nyingchi with the theme of “Peaceful Humanity and Splendid Nature in Nyingchi”.

The festival will bring out the most authentic and representative shows to tourists, showcasing song and dance performances, photography, cuisine, sightseeing, Tibetan medicine products, intangible cultural heritage products as well as agricultural products.

Food companies will offer Tibetan pork, matsutake, sheep stomach with mushrooms and other specialty food products as well as snacks. Tourists will be allowed to eat to their hearts desire and even experience the food preparation process.
