The launching ceremony of the MTV of The Holy Lake in my Heart with the theme “Heavenly Lakes - Tibet’s Ten Holy Lakes" was successfully co-hosted by the Tibetan Musicians Association and the Snowy Plateau Audio and Video Publishing House at the Newspaper and Periodical Publishing Center of Tibet Autonomous Region on October 18th.  

For the work The Holy Lake in my Heart, Chen Renjie, the well-known poet, is the general copywriter; Menang Dorje, vice-president of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Tibet Autonomous Region, well-known musician, acts as the composer; Wangdu, the famous songwriter is the translator. It is a collection of poems, songs and stories combined together,  with the unique styles of Tibetan culture and is a manifestation of innovative Tibetan music.   

This work intends to show the beautiful scenery of Tibet’s ten holy lakes, namely Padkhud Tso, Mapham Yutso, Pangong Tso, Tsona Lake, Serling Tso Lake, Ra-og Tso, Draksum Tso Lake, Lhammoi Lhatso Lake, Yamdrok Lake, Lake Namtso, by means of music video work.     

It shows the mystery and wonder of Tibet and the blessed life that people live on its land. More importantly, it also shows the harmonious relationship between human-kind and nature, so as to raise awareness amongst people about protection of the high plateau lakes.
