Chinese eyes ballooning over Mt. Qomolangma

After flying over Yellow Sea and the Taklimakan Desert, Chinese top balloonist Liu Xiang looks forward to soaring over Mt. Qomolangma (also known as Mt. Everest) in three years.
During the 2007 China hot air balloon competition that ended on Thursday, Liu told Xinhua his plan to balloon over the world highest peak.
If he succeeds, he will set a record of single-person flying over the Mt. Qomolangma in hot air balloon.
With a flying experience of 12 years, Liu said Chinese hot air ballooning ranks middle in the world now, and some of us can make it to the top 20 in international competitions.
