Tibetan railway makes Beijing Olympics nearer to Tibetans
July 1, 2007 1st anniversay for Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the railway passed the state check and acceptance.
August 8, one year cutdown to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Beijing sent its invitation to the world.
Beijing embraced two exciting moments within 40 days, one is a surprise and the other is an expectation.
It is amazed that Chinese people have constructed a longest and highest railway on "the roof of the world" by overcoming many technical difficulties, such as frozen earth, environment protection etc. Since the operation of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, it promotes exchanges between Tibetan people and inland cities, as well as people in other countries.
In Lhasa, many Tibetan people said they would go to watch 2008 Beijing Olympic Games by Qinghai-Tibet Railway which delivered their pride and happiness to be part of Chinese nation.
