The recruitment of "Mt. Qomolangma Iron Man" Xinjiang area will be launched on June 17, more than 200 people have applied.

The "Mt. Qomolangma Iron Man" is a national sports activity which is held for welcoming the Olympic flames. The recruitment in Xinjiang will consist of three matches including mountain climbing, rope skipping and holding dumbbell. Five winners will enter the quarter-final.

The final will produce 10 players who will climb Mt. Qomolangma (also known as Mt. Everest) in next May and cheer for Tibet Mountaineering Expedition Olympic Torch Relay movement.
