The "Cheering for Mt. Qomolangma Torch Relay" activity is recruiting from the public. 10 out of 10,000 candidates will be nominated as official members of Kelong Air Condition Mountaineering Team who will climb along the torch relay route to top the Mt. Qomolangma, also known as Mt. Everest next May.

A cheering squad consisted of 88 members chosen by lottery will leave for Tibet in late June and another "Peak of the World Popular Science Team" will also be organized for research and technology publicizing in Tibet.
