The bluest skies and cleanest lakes form the tableau for the second international Tibet Nam Co Jogging Convention in August.

Local government and Beijing Today Walk Center jointly hold the activity. Participants can observe Tibetan costumes, folk arts and experience the locals' hospitality along the route from Lhasa to Nam Co lake. Professional coaches including Wang Jia, who conquered Mount Chomolangma, will tutor participants during the trip. The convention, from August 4 to 10, includes Damxung Horse Race festival, Nam Co Carnival, special prayer activities for Beijing Olympics 2008, photo contest, exhibition and more. Participants are encouraged to collect rubbish in scenic spots and donate books to the local poverty-stricken students.
