TME sets up Camp III
The Tibet Mountaineering Expedition for climbing the Gasherbrum I, the 11th highest mountain in the world, has set up the Camp III at 6,920 meters above the sea level on July 11.
Four climbers together with seven assistants have moved into the Camp III. Tsering Dorje, head for the Expedition said the weather was really fine and all his members had moved into the Camp III after five-hour climbing and finished all material transport.
All the climbers are under fine condition. Penba Tashi, the leading climber and Gigi, the only female member both enjoy fine physical force for the coming ascend.
July 11, the third day with fine weather in Gasherbrum area, some foreign mountaineers set out the Base Camp for going deep into the mountain areas and an international mountaineering team went down the mountain.
