The first working meeting for the fifth Lhasa International Half-Marathon was held by the Organizing Committee of the event Aug. 2, in Lhasa, capital city of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR).

The fifth Lhasa International Half-Marathon is expected to kick off in mid-September.

The conference was held to make preparations for the event; Gyari Losang Tenzin, vice chairman of TAR addressed the meeting.
