The 5th Lhasa Half-Marathon start to accept registration from July 21 to August 31, and the event is planned to kick off on the morning of September 12 in Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region, according to Lhasa International Marathon Committee.

The Lhasa Half-Marathon is jointly organized by Chinese Athletic Association, Sports Bureau of TAR and Lhasa municipal government, including male's race and female’ race, and a 5km mini marathon.

The competition route starts from the Potala Square and ends at the Horse Track, passing along a number of scenic sites such as the Norbublingka, Tibet Museum, Tibet University, Sera Monastery, and Barkor Street.

Registration for the marathon is scheduled to end on August 31. Candidate may contact the Lhasa International Half-Marathon Committee, or download relevant information and the registration table from its official website.
