Locals claim that the Minyak princess used to dress her up here. As there were no mirrors at the time, she would observe herself against the surface of the lake after dressing up. Photo by Zhu Hong.

40km away from downtown Kangding and 13km away from Kangding Airport, the Minyak Sacred Land Scenic Spot in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province is the unavoidable passageway to Sichuan’s Daocheng Yading, Rongchag, Jiulong, etc.

Covering an area of 139 square meters and boasting snowy mountains, grasslands, flowers and ethnic cultures, the scenic spot integrates natural tourism, ethnic culture tourism and ecological green tourism.

It is late autumn. Occasionally, tourists are spotted to watch the sea of clouds and sunrise. Under the sunshine, the plateau, sky, lakes and mountains compose a beautiful view.
