At present, a total of 1,005 students from Yushu Ethnic Middle School 1 started their new school life in Chang'an Charity School of Shanxi Province.

Although being 2,000 km away from hometown, the students had resumed their school life by overcoming the grief caused by the earthquake. Besides, they had also managed to adjust to the new life thanks to the supports and care from all circles of the society.

As planned, the students from Yuhsu will spend three years studying there with their tuition fees and living expenses all covered by the Chang'an Charity School.

The Chang'an Charity School had once received over 1,000 students from Xuankou Middle School of Yingxiu Township after the Wenchuan earthquake which took place on May, 12, 2008.
