A Russian journalist delegation said they will tell people of their country a real Tibet that they have seen in the recent visit there.

The delegates are mostly from Russia’s main stream media including the RIA Novosti. They have gone to Lhasa, Lhoka Prefecture and Nyingchi Prefecture for visit and report on Tibet’s economy, society, and culture.

On Nov 30 Gyare•Losang Tenzin, vice President of Southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, had a meeting with the delegation, during which he answered the journalists’questions about the measures taken to attract tourists, Tibet’s fiscal condition, and the preferential policies given by the Central Government to Tibet.

The journalist delegation expressed their plan to deliver objectively a real Tibet of development and progress they had seen to Russian people.
