A famous Chinese expert on international relations pointed out the self-immolation is a means manipulated by the "Tibetan separation clique" to realize its political incentive, which is unwise and inhuman.

Jin Canrong, vice-president of the School of International Studies of Remin University of China, made the above remark during a current interview with China Tibet Online following the successful crackdown on orchestrated self-immolation cases by the Tibetan separation clique in Sichuan Province.

He condemned the self-immolations as "a typical western style, which is unwise and inhuman."

The 14th Dalai Lama has declared his retirement last year. Professor Jin analyzed that the "government-in-exile" now is foolhardy and lack of religious sentiment. That is why they openly support self-immolation.

However, in the spirit of Tibetan Buddhist commandants, life should be cherished. The self-immolation goes against the fundamental teachings of Buddhism, which is unadvisable.

"Their manipulation of self-immolation is a mean for them to achieve its political incentive regardless of the lives of Tibetans," said Jin.

It is inappropriate that the Dalai Lama does not express condemn over the self-immolations. It is a conduct that destroys life and violates religious commandments, contemporary civilization and international norms, according to Jin.

Jin Canrong said:“The Dalai Lama has become a symbolized tool of the U.S. in light of the financial aid from it. The U.S. is utilizing the Dalai’s surplus value.

At last, Professor Jin expressed that the instigation and coercion of self-immolations, directly or indirectly, should be punished and denounced.

Recently, the Sichuan Police has successfully cleared up orchestrated self-immolation cases by Tibet separation clique and arrested two main suspects.
