Dalai Lama condemned by foreign media for inciting self-immolation
Some foreign media may notice that despite the happening of self-immolation incidents, the Dalai Lama has always avoided condemning and stopping this extreme and anti-religious behaviour which goes against morality.
On November 17, 2011, French International Broadcasting Corporation reported that "So far the Dalai Lama has not made any condemnation of self-immolation, he only describes self-immolation as "a means for people in desperation to seek justice and freedom", and blames China's rule for what he describes as "cultural genocide".
On January 2, 2012, "Asia Sentinel " in Hong Kong reported that the Dalai Lama has raised questions on the effect of self-immolation ", he basically regard self-immolation as a courageous act, but just not a very smart one.
On November 20, 2011, Reuters reported that "the wave of self-immolation incidents has made both the Dalai Lama and the new 'government in exile' in a tight corner, where they found impossible to take both morality and policy into account", "the Dalai Lama has not directly appealed to stop self-immolation", which has aroused questioning from the international community.
On October 19,2011, the "Guardian" published an article to question the 14th Dalai Lama, " the 14th Dalai Lama always associates the so called 'Tibet career' with non-violent philosophy, isn't his whole life's work in vain if this new form of political protest spreads like wildfire?"
On January 5, 2012, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung gave an answer to the question raised by the "Guardian", "It is simply a joke to call the Dalai Lama a non-violent person."
A political group encourages itself by relying on deceiving others to burn themselves in order to avoid being marginalized in the international world, which shows that this group already has no future at all.
An article on the Guardian says that the international media will soon lose interest in self-immolation as repeated deaths have no news value and no foreign governments feel interested in shaking the "Chinese ship".
On February 13, 2012, the website of Doweinews.com published an article which clearly pointed out that the Dalai clique connived on these extreme conducts, which can only lead to its self-destruction.
The article says that those who died from self-immolation are touted as "heroes" or "martyr" by the Dalai Lama and his government-in-exile, which, together with the "awards" and "monuments" pushes them to commit self-immolation. According to the article, after the Dalai Lama's "retirement", the "Tibetan government-in-exile" has taken a permissive attitude toward the extreme behaviorur of self-immolation.
Instead of cherishing Tibetans’ life, the new leader is more willing to see accidents that can "stimulate" the CPC. If things go on like this, some of the Tibetans-in-exile will go to terrorism inevitably. And they will gradually lose the international support.
On February 16, the Doweinews.com again published an article, saying that sacrificing Tibetans' life to interfere with public opinion and to gain political bargaining chip has been less and less recognized by the international community. The International public is feeling extremely fatigued on these repeated extreme conducts.
In addition, countries that formerly supported "Tibetans-in-exile" are no longer willing to provide support for such an organizationn which gradually goes to extreme, especially under the background of China's increasing national strength.
On the one hand, the Dalai clique gets supports from its western masters through inciting self-immolation. Some countries and heads of international organizations take this opportunity to show their sympathy to the Dalai clique and whimsically demand the Chinese government to make political concessions to the Dalai clique. On the other hand, those western forces have to keep their distance from the Dalai clique to treat self-immolation "coldly", for fear of getting the notoriety of supporting terrorism.
Doweinews.com notices that since the happening of self-immolation incidents, countries such as America, Germany, and France only made some "symbolic speeches", "reacting very differently from "March 14 Riots' in Lhasa". One reason of their "calm" is that "Tibetan separatist forces incite unsophisticated young monks into violence, from committing self-immolation to attacking government bodies through various means, and the violence is escalating", "the escalating violence makes western politicians worry that it will become more ‘terroristic’ to blacken their reputations".
Dalai clique is now caught in a dilemma: if it continues to incite self-immolation, it will become an open terrorist group; if it stops inciting self-immolation, there is no starting point for "Tibet independence", which gives it no help to ask money from its supporters.
It should be pointed out that the Dalai Lama who engages in violence has never won in history, nor will he win in the future. Engaging in violence is amount to 'political suicide'. And it is not a bad thing if he and his followers choose 'political suicide'.
This wicked thing of inciting self-immolation will not last long, because if the Dalai clique continues to do so, it will soon for them to walk into the graves which they have dug for themselves.
