Dalai "sells" Diaoyu Islands to please Japan
November 5, the 14th Dalai Lama held a press meeting in Yokohama, Japan, announcing China's Diaoyu Islands as "Senkaku" abiding by Japan's stance. He slandered China by claiming "the rising anti-Japanese sentiment in Chinese mainland" results from China's practice of anti-Japanese education.
He claimed, "As the mainland of China is a closed society with poor access to information, many Chinese people still associate Japanese with militarism. This directly leads to the burgeoning anti-Japanese sentiment among Chinese people after Japan 's 'purchase' of the Diaoyu Islands."
This is a complete lie.
Indisputable historical records showed the Diaoyu Islands had been an inherent part of the Chinese territory. The current dispute between China and Japan was deliberately provoked by Japanese right-wing forces.
The Japanese government, instead of doing anything to stop the right-wing forces from violating China's sovereignty and sabotaging China-Japan relations, has stepped in and 'purchased' the islands itself.
Under the circumstance, it is reasonable and necessary for the Chinese government to take actions of showing no concessions on sovereignty with angers and condemns from the whole nation.
It is clear that Dalai Lama intends to win the Janpanese right-wings forces' favor by kidnapping the dispute over the Diaoyu Islands. Once again, he betrays all the 1.3 billion Chinese people.
When Japan declared the "purchase" of Diaoyu Islands, people from across the strait both carried out strong counter-measures. Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hongkong jointly take actions to safeguard the Diaoyu Islands. Overseas Chinese also held demonstrations and gatherings and placed adertisement to bolster China's Diaoyu Islands claim assert China's claim in all ways. It fully proves that defending China's sovereignty on the Diaoyu Islands and its affiliated islands concerns not only Chinese mainland, but also all Chinese at home and abroad.
That the Dalai Lama intentionally distorted that only Chinese mainland emerged the anti-Japan feelings because of its social close is a huge defame to the patriotism of the Chinese nation, with people of Taiwan, Hongkong, Macao and oversea Chinese included.
China has never conducted "anti-Japan education". Even if Japan's militarism committed grave crimes to Chinese people during the WWII, Chinese people are still friendly to Japanese. Just a few days ago, several Japanese visitors suffered from a snowstorm in China's Hebei Province, local people provided them with full rescue. What we oppose is Japan's few right-wing forces and the resurgence of militarism.
Dalai Lama deliberately asserted that Chinese people still connect Japanese with militarism. His intention is obvious by destroying Sino-Japan relationship with vicious attempts on the Diaoyu Islands issue.
Coincidentally, when Dalai Lama accepted the interview from the Hindustan Times on November 2nd, he said "In the past, I always said that the Indian government treated the Tibetan issue cautiously, while at present I see Indian government's tougher stance against China in dealing with this issue." He also added lies that "the mutual trust in China-India relations can not be reached until Tibet problem gets completely normalized." How pervasive the Dalai Lama sowed discord among China and other countries!
It has been an old trick that Dalai Lama betrays his country for foreigner's support. He made the fallacy that Indian is more reasonable to own Tibet than China. He betrays his ancestors and stands for his persistent position that Tawang is an integral part of India, in spite of the fact that Tawang has temples built by the fifth Dalai Lama and is the birth place of the sixth Dalai Lama.
His frenzied activities even include selling the northeast of China, including Taiwan, Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang according to his autobiography Freedom in Exile. Ultimately, he abandoned himself and found a new motherland – ‘Son of India'. He even sweared that he would like to open his brain to test if he is 100% Indian. What a pity that except for his own soul, Dalai Lama has no way to sell an inch of land in China!
