Senior high schoolers of the mudslides-hit Zhouqu County, northwest China's Gansu Province, began a new semester on a usual date, Sept. 1.

A total of 12 children from landslides-hit Zhouqu County of northwest China's Gansu Province visited the Summer Palace and Yuanmingyuan Garden in Beijing on Monday,sponsored by charity.

Floods and landslides have left 3,185 people dead and more than 1,060 missing in China this year.
