An earthquake hits Tibet, no casualty reported
A 6.9-magnitude earthquake hit Nyingchi in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region on the morning of Nov. 18, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), and no casualty has been reported.
The quake occurred at 06: 34: 19 am, Beijing Time, striking at a depth of about 10 km. And three aftershocks were felt, with a highest 5.0 magnitude.
It is reported that an emergency response has been launched by the region’s related department and rescue staff have been sent to the disaster situation.
