Hi-tech innovations displayed in the form of models attract the attention of great many visitors on an exhibition recently held in Beijing, capital of China. 

The exhibition, Five years of Sheer Endeavour, on which the achievements made under Chinese President Xi Jinping's leadership since 2012 were displayed, is ongoing at the Beijing Exhibition Center.

China's standard "Fuxinghao" high-speed train, organized and developed by China Railway Corporation, has complete independent intellectual property rights and is of an advanced level on a global scale. It was officially named on June 25, 2017, and on June 26 it set off on its maiden journey from Beijing's South Railway Station and Shanghai's Hongqiao Station.

The "Chang'e 3" lunar detector is made up of a lander and a lunar rover named "Yutu". On December 2, 2013, it was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. It accurately went into orbit and consecutively carried out scientific surveys in the space, completing China's first soft landing on extraterrestrial land and realizing the second stage of the 3-step strategic goal of China's lunar exploration program. At present, the Chang'e 3 detector is still working, and has spent longer on the moon than any other detector in the world.

"Jiaolong" manned deep-sea vehicle is China's first independently designed and independently developed operational deep-sea manned vehicle. It is designed to reach depths of 7,000 meters, giving it the deepest diving potential in the world.

China's independently developed 400 horsepower CVT tractor has ended the necessity for China to import heavy tractors above 350 horsepower, filling many gaps in domestic technology. It can carry out deep plowing, deep loosening, combined tillage and other heavy-duty farm operations. This helps satisfy the demands of precision agriculture.

The intelligent robot sorting system, independently researched and developed by China's express delivery enterprise, has been dubbed the "Little Yellow Man". Its advantage is it has a small footprint and high sorting efficiency, and can reduce human work by 70% and can sort for 24 hours interrupted. 350 "Little Yellow Men" can handle 600,000 packages for delivery every day.
　　
According to the latest report released by China's National Bureau of Statistics, China has been continuously increasing support for scientific and technological innovation. In 2016 funding for research and experimental development reached 1.5677 trillion yuan (0.2376 trillion US dollars), which is 52.2% more than in 2012.
