CPC proposes to write oath of allegiance into Constitution
The Communist Party of China Central Committee proposed to write the mechanism of pledging allegiance to the country's Constitution into the fundamental law.
A clause which states that all state functionaries shall take a public oath of allegiance to the Constitution upon assuming office should be added, read the proposal made public Sunday.
