On August 21st, the Panchen Lama reached Lama Ling Temple of the Nyingma tradition to conduct religious services. The Panchen Lama patted the top of worshippers’ heads to endow them with blessings. On August 25th, the Panchen Lama visited a Tibetan medicine shop at the gate of a touristy area in Nanyi Gou Valley, Nyinchi. The Panchen Lama chatted with the shop owner and picked up one item to ask if it was the “iron-skinned dendrobium nobile,” after an affirmative answer, he inquired about prices of this medicine in recent days.[Photo/China Tibet Online]

 
After the Panchen Lama finished checking out the medicine, he visited a nearby dried fruits vendor. The vendor treated everyone to his products when he saw the visitor was the Panchen Lama. The Panchen Lama thanked the shopkeeper for his generosity.[Photo/China Tibet Online]

 
According to reports, the other two reincarnation candidates during the passing of the 10th Panchen Lama accompanied the Panchen Lama on his religious visit to Tibet.
