The Tibetan blind band held a charitable evening party on Oct. 25 with the theme of "seeing the world with the heart and making a journey together in love", China Tibetan News reported.
A total of 16 performances lined up the evening, including traditional music ensembles, poetry reciting, singing and skits. A majority of the performers were members of the band.
Since its debut last year, the band has been well received by the public. They have learned ethnic folk songs and dances passed down from the generations such as Langma (Imperial court music) or Duixie (folk music).

In order to express their appreciations for the support from people of all walks of life, the band plans to host an evening charity party with the same theme every year.
"We hope that we can provide more blind people with opportunitie for receiving assistance, as well as do our bit to promote the ethnic Tibetan culture," said head of the band.
