Tibetan tea has a history of more than one thousand years. From the ancient times until now, Ya'an city of southwest China's Sichuan province is the production center of Tibetan tea.

Ya'an Tibetan tea, with long history and exquisite techniques, has been listed in the second batch of state-level intangible cultural heritage.
