Located in the Old Town of Lhasa, capital city of the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Barkor Street is one of the famous ritual walk paths in Lhasa as well as the city's commercial center.The traditional features and living style of the ancient town are fairly preserved on the street.As the only street circling around the celebrated Jokhang Temple, the Barkor Street is deemed as a "holy road" by Tibetan people.
