LHASA,Sep.28(China Tibet Online) The China Tibet Expo in Lhasa, which concluded on Sept.27, has yielded 3.87-billion-yuan investment with 33 agreements signed on economic cooperation.

The cooperative projects mainly involve tourism, agricultural industry, highland drinking water, biotechnology and so on, which aims at accelerating the economic development in Tibet with multiple channels and a variety of cooperative methods.

At the expo, a consensus between China's Tibet and Nepal was reached to join hands in driving the tourist industry of both sides.

Deng Xiaogang, deputy director of the organization committee of the expo, said at the closing ceremony held on September 27,the China Tibet Expo would become an annual activity to serve as a window for mutual communication and cooperation between China's Tibet and the outside world.
