Lately the Tibet Buresu of China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) has organized a founding ceremony for the Banking Consumer Protection Department to better serve its customers, Xinhua reported.

The department is equipped with a number of well-trained staff and facilitation, including a lot of highly experienced senior staff.

After the founding of the department, consumer protection work will be fully implemented under the principle of prevention first, education, the rule of law and coordination second. Beyond legal protection, the department is also dedicated to popularize banking and financial expertise to the masses in the long run, and at the same time to urge the establishment of owner awareness of banking industry in shouldering financial responsibility in paying due respect to consumers’ rights.
