Rinpoche Kunsang Wangdu received 65 Buddhists from southeast China's Fujian Province led by Wuyan monk in Tashilhunpo Monastery last Thursday.
Located in Shigatse, Tashilhunpo Monastery is one of the six major monasteries in Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism and has been the stationed temple of Panchen Lamas. Rinpoche Kunsang Wangdu is one of the candidate soul boys of the 10th Panchen Lama's reincarnation and is now a living Buddha of Tashilhunpo Monastery.
Even though Rinpoche Kunsang Wangdu was under the weather these days, he still welcomed the Buddhists from Fujian in person.
On behalf of Tibetan Buddhism and Han Buddhism, the two accomplished monks exchanged gifts as a token of cherishing the friendship between Han and Tibetan Buddhism.
During the his meeting with Wuyan monk, Rinpoche Kunsang Wangdu said that all Buddhists regardless of schools or sects should love the country and the religion, have a big heart and benevolence, keep a low profile in cultivating Buddhism, and be an honest person.
