Tibetan farmers and nomads in pictures

Agriculture and husbandry are the traditional and basic industries of Tibet Autonomous Region, where farmers and nomads account for over 80 percent of the total population. 

For many years Tibet continues increasing fiscal fund for agriculture, which reached over 16 billion yuan (2.6 billion US dollars) in 2013, and in the same year the per capita net income of Tibetan farmers and nomads reached 6,578 yuan (1,075 US dollars), which was the 11th consecutive year of double-digit growth.
