Agricultural loans support Tibetan traditional handicraft industry

As a bank with the largest deposit and loan scale in Tibet Autonomous Region, the Tibet Branch of Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) also provides financial services for the three rural issues including agriculture, farmer and rural area.
Depending on the location advantage, resource endowment and industry characteristics, the bank promotes the development of Tibetan traditional handicraft industry through kinds of loans, such as the small interest loan, small interest loan for urban and rural women, and speed loan for small and micro business.
So far, the Tibet Branch of ABC has accumulative delivered 2 billion yuan (about 0.32 billion U.S. dollars) of credit funds to the Tibetan handicraft industry, which realized the aim of supporting one industry in Tibet, activating local economy and bringing wealth to the people.
