Tibet has officially launched the Youth Environmental Protection for Public Interests Activity recently,the Tibet Daily reported.

The Tibet Jiansu Commerce Chamber and the Tibet Adolescent Development Foundation have jointly held a promotion and signature activity, themed as "being environmental protection volunteers", in the Lhasa Normal College in Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region.

The activity aimed to inspire more youth to protect the environment, stay away from activities such as discarding the garbage without sorting and using the disposal materials, and reject to hurt and eat the wild animals.

It spread the environmental protection acknowledge by giving lectures, creating paintings on environmental protection and issuing the regenerating tablewares.

The Tibet Jiangsu Commerce Chamber is going to establish the environmental protection foundation,in order to reward the exceptional environmental protection volunteers, said the head of the commerce chamber.
