Travel tips: Beware of low temperature in Ngari

Tourists are warned to watch out the low temperature caused by rains since Aug.19, in the Nagri Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region, said meteorological experts.
With precipitation of 16.6 mm, the temperature dropped low to 5 degree below zero in Nagri west of Tibet since Aug. 19.
Experts warn that tourists should wear more clothes to keep their trip smooth.
Ngari Prefecture is located in western Tibet and the most mysterious place in the region. Covering an area of 310,000 square kilometers, one-fourth of Tibet, it is situated at an average altitude of 4,500 meters above sea level.
