Tibetan books highlight 2013 Beijing International Book Fair

The five-day "2013 Beijing International Book Fair" was opened in the International Exhibition Center in Shunyi District, Beijing, on August 28, in which Tibetan books provided by the Tibet People's Publishing House has caught visitors' eyes for its unique style.
Established in 1971, the Tibet People's Publishing House is the only comprehensive publishing institution in Tibet, which publishes books including history, culture, religion, literature, life and textbook references. It has established a social science book center, which has published a series of Tibet-themed important books that have great cultural protection and spread value in terms of Tibetan traditional handcrafts, local history and Tibetan medicine, all of which have fully reflected the academic research results of Tibet in recent years.
