The 2013 Yarlung Culture Festival organized by the Lhoka Prefecture of Tibet with the theme of "origination and predestination in Tibet: Lhoka Prefecture" rounds off on Aug. 22, 2013,according to China Tibet News.

During the past seven days, various activities have been performed on the stage of the culture festival, including the performances at the opening and closing ceremonies, trade fairs to invite investment, the first contest of Tibetan folk song and exhibitions featuring Lhoka local culture. Tourists and the locals are attracted to participate in the celebration activities.

Baima Drolkar, an old Tibetan lady said: "I bring my grandson to enjoy the performance and we both like it very much! I could see scenes of my life in each program, which remind me of the good days now, thus I didn't miss any program in the culture festival."

"The 2013 Yarlung Culture Festival has come to a successful conclusion, but we will continue to develop economic and cultural construction in the Lhoka Prefecture. Based on the rich cultural and tourism resources, we believe people in Lhoka will have a better life in the future," said Karma Tenpai, the minister of the Publicity Deparment of the Lhoka Prefecture.
