The grand drama "Princess Wencheng" premiered in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, August 1, 2013. The drama was performed in a stadium of over 24,611 square meters, which could accommodate about 3,900 audiences. The drama is the first large live-action performance in Tibet integrated with drama, music and dance, narrating the stories about Princess Wencheng in China's Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.) and her marriage with Songtsan Gampo, king of Tubo Kingdom in ancient Tibet over 1, 300 years ago.
