World’s highest comprehensive stadium under construction in Lhasa

The world’s highest comprehensive stadium is under construction on Nov. 18 in Liuyu new district of Lhasa, capital of Tibet, which is an aid-Tibet project by Beijing with the largest scale and investment.
The stadium, constituted by a gymnasium and a yak museum, will become a landmark building within Lhasa and even Tibet with the largest scale, highest science and technology content and most complete facilities. It will considerably promote the city image and enhance the competitiveness of the city.

Before the end of this year, the yak museum, the stadium and the music square are estimated to be roofed and the basic structure of the stadium is expected to be completed. Besides, children’s playground and amusement equipment are planned to be accomplished by then.
