Level Ⅳ Emergency Response for rainstorm launched in Tibet

Rain intensifies from light blue to purple

 

The Central Meteorological Office continues to issue Blue Warning for rainstorm in this 06:00. It's forecasted that in next 24 hours the heavy rain to rainstorm will hit eastern Southwest China, western Yangtze-Huaihe Valley, northern and western South of the Yangtze River, most parts of Yangtze-Hanshui Valley, northern Guangxi, northwestern Yunnan and southeastern Tibet. Meanwhile, severe rainstorm will affect northwestern Guangxi, southern and northeastern Guizhou, northern Hunan, central Hubei, southern Anhui and northwestern Zhejiang. Furthermore, central Inner Mongolia will get heavy rain with severe convective weather.

According to the weather condition, Jiao Meiyan, Deputy Administrator of China Meteorological Administration (CMA) issued an order to launch Level Ⅳ Emergency Response. Meanwhile, all related institutions of CMA, and the provincial meteorological bureaus of Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan, Hubei, Zhejiang, Anhui and Inner Mongolia all entered Level Ⅳ emergency responsive state immediately.
