A beauty from east Tibet's Chamdo named Yindro Lhamo won the championship, Dekyi Yangzong from Lhasa finished 3rd, after another Lhasa beauty Tsering Dorga at the 2011 Tibet tourist image ambassador final on Nov. 26, 2011.

The three-month-long contest aimed to select a well-rounded girl as Tibet tourist image ambassador.

The final included figure show, talent show, knowledge show and talk show. During the talent show, every beauty performed the characteristic dance and song of their hometown, such as "Guo Zhuang", "Geba" and "Tap dancing". And they also introduced the historical background of their performance.

Chamdo beauty Yindro Lhamo showed her passion and power by dancing the traditional dance in Kangba region——Geba (beating a drum while spinning around), bringing audiences present in a joyful atmosphere.

The organizing committee invited celebrities from Tibetan art, cultural circles and noted Chinese models to act as judges.

After a hot competition, the first three were selected in the final. The "Tibet tourism image ambassador" and other outstanding performers will have the chance to work in Tibet Airlines.

"As an ambassador, I will make the whole world know how beautiful Tibet is and how modern Lhasa is." Dekyi Yangzong said excitedly in her thank-you speech.
