Tibet's annual tax revenue volume hits 10 mln yuan in cultural industry
So far, the cultural industry has achieved an annual tax revenue volume of over 10 million yuan in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
Tibet has over 3,000 cultural entrepreneurs and units with more than 20,000 practitioners in over 20 categories, including eight cultural industry demonstration bases at the autonomous regional level and two ones at the national level.
In recent years, the profound Tibetan culture has attracted more and more people at home and abroad, and Tibet's cultural industry has eyed diversified investment and collaborative development of diversified ownerships.
The first phase of a large comprehensive cultural tourist project-a Tibetan cultural park-is about to enter into all-round construction.
With a total investment of 480 million yuan, the project is scheduled to be completed in 2014
It will become the largest cultural tourist project in Lhasa and even in Tibet, expected to host 800,000 tourists every year and provide 1,000 job opportunities.
